How to request deletion
- Email the contact address listed at the bottom of this page.
- Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request - Easy Clean.
-
In the email body, include:
- the app name Easy Clean
- your approximate request date
- optional device model and Android version (helps us locate diagnostics)
- any previous support email thread, if applicable
- We will confirm receipt and complete the request within 30 days (sooner when possible).
What you can delete yourself immediately
Most Easy Clean data stays on your device. You can remove it without emailing us:
- Uninstall Easy Clean — removes the app and its local app storage (settings, local databases, recycle-bin records kept by the app, App Lock settings stored by the app, and locally saved Break-in captures stored in app storage).
- Clear app storage / cache in Android Settings → Apps → Easy Clean — removes local Easy Clean data while keeping the app installed.
- Your photos, videos, and other personal files that the app scanned or cleaned remain under your control in device storage / MediaStore. Deleting those files is done in the app features or your gallery; uninstalling Easy Clean does not wipe your entire gallery.
Data we delete when you email a request
After verifying your request, we will delete or request deletion of data we control that can reasonably be linked to your request, including:
- support email correspondence you sent to us (unless we must retain a minimal record of the deletion request itself)
- analytics / crash diagnostics that we can locate and that are associated with your install or support request (for example Firebase Analytics / Crashlytics records we can identify)
Data that may be retained
- Google Play purchase / subscription records — managed by Google under your Google account. Cancel or manage subscriptions in Google Play. We cannot erase Google’s payment ledger; contact Google Play support for account-level purchase history questions.
- Advertising data held by ad partners (for example Google AdMob) — subject to those partners’ retention and controls. You can reset or limit your advertising ID in Android settings.
- Legal / security retention — we may retain limited information when required to comply with law, resolve disputes, or prevent abuse (only as long as reasonably necessary).
- Aggregated or de-identified data that cannot reasonably identify you may be retained.
Typical retention after a request
- Actionable deletion requests are completed within 30 days.
- A minimal record of the deletion request (date and that a request was handled) may be kept up to 24 months for compliance and anti-abuse purposes.
- Third-party SDK retention (Google Analytics / Crashlytics / ads) follows those providers’ configurations and policies after we submit or process deletion where available.
